this is me or close enough

At Their Best

People with INTP preferences are independent problem solvers who excel at providing a detached, concise analysis of an idea or situation. They ask the hard questions, challenging others and themselves to find new logical approaches.

Characteristics of INTPs

INTPs use their thinking primarily internally to find or develop underlying principles and logical structures for understanding and explaining the world. They approach almost everything with skepticism, form their own opinions and standards, and apply these standards rigorously to themselves. They hightly value intelligence and competence. INTPs are likely to be:

-logical, analytical, and objectively critical
-detached and contemplative

INTPs see possibilities beyond the present and obvious. They love to theorize and discuss abstractions. INTPs are usually:

-mentally quick, insightful, and ingenious
-intensely curious about ideas and theories

INTPs quickly see inconsistencies and illogicality and enjoy taking apart and reworking ideas. They naturally build complex theoretical systems to explain the realities they see. They find it difficult to work on routine things, but bring great energy, intensity, and focus to reasearching or analyzing a problem that arouses their curiosity.

How Others May See Them

INTPs are usually quiet and reserved though they can talkative in areas where they are especially knowledgeable. Unless their work requires action, they are more interested in the challenge of finding solutions than in putting solutions to practical use. They prefer not to organize people or situations.

INTPs are tolerant of a wide range of behavior arguing and raising issues only when they believe it is resonable to do so. This flexibility disappears, however, when their ruling principles are challenged; then they stop adapting.

INTPs are precision in communication and dislike redundancy or stating the obvious. They want to state the exact truth, but may make it so complex that others have difficulty understanding. Others usually see INTPs as

-quiet, contained, calm, and detached observers
-independent, valuing autonomy

Potential Areas for Growth

Sometimes life circumstances have not supported the INTPs in the development and expression of their Intuitive and thinking preferences

-If they’ve not developed their intuition, INTPs may have no reliable way for taking in information and be immersed in their internal logical systems. Then they find it difficult to communicate or actualize their ideas.
-If they’ve not developed their thinking, they may go from insight to insight, never analyzing them with a critical eye or integrating them into a whole.

If INTPs do not find a place where they can use their gifts and be appreciated for they contributions they usually feel frustrated and may:

-become cynical and negative
-be sarcastic and destructively critical
-isolate themselves and put off action
-engage in verbal sparring and arguments

It is natural for INTPs to give less attention to their non-preferred feeling and sensing parts. If they neglect these too much, however, they may

-be insensitive to the needs of others for information and emotional connection
-decide something they or others value is not important because it’s “not logical”
-fail to consider the impact of their ideas on people
-be impractical – forgetting details such as appropriate dress, paying bills, physical needs

Under great stress, INTPs may erupt outwardly in inappropriate displays of emotion, The resulting explosive anger or hurt tearfulness is quite unnerving to others and embarrassing to the usually calm and controlled INTP.

Possible Careers for INTPs

Physicists, chemists, biologists, photographers, stategic planners, mathematicians, university professors, computer programmers, computer animators, technical writers, engineers, lawyers, forensic researchers, writers, artists, phychologists, social scientists, systems analysts, researchers, suveyors. Highly analytical, they can discover connections between two seemingly unrelated things, and work best when allowed to use their imagination and critical thinking.

nothing's gonna change the world. DEFINITELY

okay so, kate katie and i snuck out this weekend to go to eric's. we got caught by the cops. WE WEREN'T DOING ANYTHING ILLEGAL. there is no curfew in waverly, you hear? okay. okay. so we see the cops pulling up and what do we do? TAKE A WILD GUESS. well, katie hides behind a tree. a bad move to begin with but i hide behind her. and kate hides behind me. us three, same tree. we are the three st. tree. oh yes. we're never gonna live this down.
so the tall (nice?) cop comes up and asks us where we're going, what we're doing, WHY THE FUCK ARE WE HIDING BEHIND A TREE (THE SAME TREE?), and if our parents know we're out. uh no. and what does he do? HE CALLS FOR BACKUP. THREE SKINNY GIRLS, MIDDLE-A-NIGHT, THIS COULD BE A MAJOR THREAT TO SOCIETY.
so this fat dumbass cop shows up. IRONICALLY THE SAME MAN WHO TAUGHT US DARE. i guess that's not that ironic, but WHATEVER. he's rolly polly and giggly, as if this is a big joke to him. he's like, "hey girls, what are you doing out here at the hour? how old are you? blah blah blah?" BUT WAIT, my favorite part - right here - "how's high school?" and kate bravely replies, "pretty good until now." and he interrupts her with "SUCKS DON'T IT."

what the fuck?! this guys a fag.

so tall skinny cop takes us home - GET'S US IN TROUBLE WITH OUR PARENTS, BECAUSE WE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING ILLEGAL. WHAT A BITCH.

anyway.

school = shit
mcr live = shit
swimming = shit

I don't like Metallica.

Mmmkay kiddies, gather round as I tell you about the best weekend of my life.

It started Friday night when I had Katie and Kate spend the night. Katie came first, so I helped her with a few poems and shit. Then Kate showed up and we ate pizza, blah blah blah. K, at about 2 in the morning we were camping out on my deck and we got our bikes and met Eric S and AJ at the beach. We chilled there for awhile talked and played tag and shit. Then we went to kwik star and AJ got me some fucking great ass gummy thingys (<3). After that we chilled on the bridge and ate all the food we got, then we all rode bikes back to my place. We were all sitting on the deck – I fell asleep first and then Eric and I think Kate, Katie and AJ stayed up all night and had wild pig sex or whatever– fuck if I know. Anyway, Eric was way high strung and kept yelling random funny ass shit all night. I didn’t care – I knew my mom couldn’t hear, and my dad wasn’t home…(I don’t give a fuck about my neighbors). In the morning Eric and AJ left. Kate, Katie and I went inside and fell asleep in my bed, Katie left, Kate left. I fucked around on the internet the rest of the day.

Sunday I spent the night at Katie’s. Katie moved, so she lives really close to me now. We stayed up and watched TV and talked to Cody, Eric and AJ on the phone – we decided to sneak out again that night at about 12:30. We tried meeting Cody and Eric at the railroad tracks but we lost Eric – so when he finally showed up Cody, Katie and I hid behind a tree and then Cody went and butt raped him. Then we went inside Eric’s place. We just fucked around on the internet and shit, and at about 2 Katie and I left because my stomach hurt and Katie seemed a bit bored. When we got home we were extremely grateful that the pillows under the covers trick actually worked. Then we talked outside a bit and then hit the sack.

Monday night I had Joanie over. We went to Shell-Rock to watch the fireworks and shit. Will drove Joanie and me, plus Eric and Cody. While we were on the highway he passed about three or four cars and was going 80 while people were coming on the left, so basically we almost had a head on collision by about three yards. Apparently, that offended some lady who FOLLOWED US to shell rock, to Max’s house to fucking bitch us out. It wasn’t even the fucking person we were driving straight at, it was one of the car’s Will passed. She’s like, “Do you realize that you nearly killed people up on Highway 3?” And shrugged and said, “I guess.” And then she’s like, “Well next time you decide to pull a stunt like that make sure my family isn’t in danger.” Which made no fucking sense, when are we ever gonna see that bitch again? Anyway, as she was driving away Max walked outside and shouted “Hey Baby!” And she flipped him off. Go Max. When we got to the fair thingy Joanie and I immediately left because we wanted gummy bears and there was nothing worth doing there anyway. So Will drove us (We picked up AJ and Rachel on the way) to Kwik Star. Then we went back to Max’s then to the fireworks. That’s where we met up with Baberly from Waverly. We also ran into Caitlin, who Eric went up to and said lol to (long story). We also ran into Jessica, who put some shit in her profile on aim about loving me or something (it was like <3 h3y m0m or some bullshit like that, it’s a long story – ask me about it sometime). So Eric went up to her and was like, “I HEART HEY MOM!” I laughed. Anyway we left there to watch the fireworks from the bridge, Eric and I decided to scream after each one – which pissed some people off but whatever, like we care. After that we headed back to Max’s and chilled (we do that a lot.) Then all 6 of us had to pile in Max’s brother’s four-person car, let me tell ya – that was cozy. He took us all to Eric’s, then Eric drove Joanie and me home.

When we got home we got some Mt. Dew and got on the computer (surprise, surprise) we talked to Max and this kid from Ohio (he’s fucking awesome.) So all the guys wanted us to sneak out and meet them somewhere, as if we hadn’t seen each other in years. So they started walking, and when they got to my house Eric just kinda wandered in. I was in front of him, and my dad woke up. I was talking to him and it was dark (plus he didn’t have his glasses, and Eric always wears black – so he didn’t see him.) Eric went back outside, and my dad asked me why I was in the garage, I’m like “I don’t know, Joanie’s out there. I’ll go get her.” So we went out there and got some Gatorade for an excuse. Joanie told the guys to go sit on the curb a street over. When we got inside my dad asked us to come upstairs and he’s all like, “Why were you guys out there. And I’m like – “uh to get Gatorade?” and he’s like “ok ok ok, nevermind.” Then he ate his evening slice of bread like the freak is and went to bed. We told him we were going to bed and went into my room to put pillows under the covers, turn the fan on and the light off. Then we went out the back door and found the guys. So we were talking and shit and AJ was looking at my garage, then he’s like, “Oh shit Sarah, there’s someone in your garage.” So we all ran like hell into the bushes of someone’s yard. Turns out, Joanie and I left the light on in the garage and my dad went to turn it off and to make sure no one was in our front yard (because you know, that’s happened before). So we made Eric casually walk by and he said no one was there and the light was off. It was a good thing we were far away. So I was like, fucking hyperventilating because if my dad found out – I don’t even know what he would do. So we got back into the house safely and went to bed. Gosh, I love sneaking out. I lyke lurve the natural high maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang.

Today just plain sucked.

Night.

hahahahahaha.

wow. eric s, cody, evan, and max just randomly showed up at my house about an hour ago (11:30). we just sat in my yard and talked. we were having fun until eric decided to be grumpy and tell me to go get my mom and drive them home, the nigger. i would have happily walked them home but noooo, my mom thinks i'm gonna get raped in waverly or some shit like that. my mom didn't care that they came, and i was hoping my dad wouldn't find out - but he did. and he's kinda mad. it's not like i asked them to come...heh, right.

but it's certainly been an experience.

later pussies

last day of schooooooooool!

it rocked, when i got to school chelsey sprayed me and kate. so kate's hair was green, and mine was pinkish red. then we had this ginormous assembly where i got my "certificate" for getting my poem published in literary iowa. the certificate turned out to be half of a folder, that had written on it, "fake certificate, sarah - way 2 go, big time poet! signed Mr. P" it was funny because the sevvie that got her poem published got a freaking plack. it was fuuuuuuunny. but i don't think the sevvie's poem was all that great. it was about a school of fish or something. what the fuck.

anyway, after school it was eric s, maxi, kate, sammy, cody and me that went to sub city (TRADITION!) and then kate, cody, sammy and me walked to the general to get the goods (BIG HUG) it was so funny, cody's reaction when he took his first drink of the elixer of fuck: "god. damn. this. is. great."

you had to be there.

after that we met up with max eric rachel and daniel.

HAHA NO ONE LIKES DANIEL.

then we all went to irving. eric went up onto the roof, and couldn't get down. from the roof eric's like: "gawd you look like such a hippie, it's way hawt." some old ladies came out and yelled at him, and he told them his name was eric mcclung.

however, he should have told them he was eric clapton.

meanwhile, all of us went inside and ironically kate and i ran into our 6th and 5th grade teachers at the same time. i remember when in 5th grade kate called that guy a dolt.

BITCH!

after irving we headed over to sammy's hub, his recording studio. or rather, soon to be. it sounds really lame. then we went into hardees only because it was airconditioned and we were sweating bullets. it wasn't long until we realized the only way to avoid getting kicked out was to buy something, so i bought some fries. then we all shared our feelings and our biggest fears when sam asked, "what do you guys think sucks the most." we shared our feelings on jessica nolte, school, fire hydrants - the usual.

after hardees we went through the taco bell drive through - on foot. i shouted into the box: DO YOU SERVE TACO'S?!?!??!?! and apparently that was humorous.

we went to the dry cleaners. where they have this bell and if you step on it, a bell rings inside. we kept stepping on it over and over again. until this lady poked her head out and asked, "you guys having fun?" and kate responded, "we're trying to." and the lady said, "well quit it." of course we continued doing it, and then a different lady poked her head out and told us that if we didn't stop she'd call the cops.

KATE IS SO B.A.

after that we were walking by these two ladies, and eric told me that they called us pussies. so i went back there and i'm like, "woah, what'd you call us? did you just call us pussies?!" and she didn't respond so i go back to eric and ask him if he was sure, and he said he thought so.

anyway, then we went to nicole priebe's where we abandoned max out on the street, and kate went and talked to nicole a bit. then we went to the alley, blah blah blah, hung out on the bike trail. then to the beach under the bike bridge. max, eric and i treaded in the river but kate and cody were being pussies and wouldn't. i kept splashing max, then called a truce, forgot about the truce and splashed him again. we laid on the beach for awhile and just chilled until rachel and daniel came back, i shouted - i thought we got rid of you because NO ONE LIKES DANIEL.

they left and then we went back up to the bridge and eric yelled at some kids if they served taco's. the kids were bitches. kids are vicious these days. then we hung out for two seconds then i started heading home with eric and cody, then we parted, then i got home, and two seconds later i had to leave for swimmy. which was exhausting, because i was so tired from the day

right now, not a soul is on and i have absolutely no one to talk to. i'm wondering if there's a party going on somewhere, or they're all at a movie that i didn't hear about. and it JUST ROCKS.

also, it seems i've survived the "last day of school sunburn" that i've been getting for the past two years. they were both 3rd degree burns, and both hurt. a lot.

later bitches.

Believe Me Natalie

yesterday was SUPAH.

kate and i did the filming of the group shots, i.e. riot. it was really FUN, and i'm so glad that enough people showed up unlike last week. although, it was really hard getting everyone to cooperate.

well anyway kate and i got there and with allie and rachel and their siblings. the fag, evan, and ben arrived and then joanie. kate and i realized that eric won't come unless we go and get him. so allie led the way and joanie and i followed. when we got to erics the funny thing was all his little siblings crowding at the window watching joanie allie and i sit in their front yard. when we asked where he was they said he was coming, and that he had to buckle all his pants parts together. it was really funny.

when he came out we started walking down the block. i turned to him and asked him if he would have come if we hadn't gotten him. he's like, "come where?" and we're all like, "irving?!" and he's like, oh, forgot it was saturday. the funny thing about this was that he was following us, but had no idea where we were going. hahahahaha, i FUCKING HATE that kid.

anyway, when we got to irving kate had already shot the labcoat people arguing, with evan and eric. this was hifariousss because they were shouting random shit, like: "YOU'RE EYES ARE BLUE AND I DON'T CARE WHAT" and "MICROWAVABLE DUCKS SUCK" twas funneh.

then we started rounding everyone together. eric wouldnt do the part we wanted, so we had daniel do it. it was hard to get everyone to cooperate, because you know, it's not like they were getting paid or anything. BUT WHEN KATE AND I ARE RICH AND FAMOUS WE'LL BE ABLE TO PAY OUR ACTORS.

FUCK ME

after we got everything done, kate and i headed to her house to edit the footage and work on the credits. i can't wait till we get this movie done, it will be the tits. we even thought of our title, Wolfenvomit Productions.

it's genius.

anyway, tonight i'm going to a movie, hopefully this will be fun. see ya later.

everything will be alright

ok so i got another live journal account. why? because i'm awesome, that's why.

anyway, tonight i went to swim practice (surprise). so we were talking about how i'm definitely not going to have a life this summer, cuz my coach (al pal) is certainly...fat.

also, tonight kevin wasn't being an asshole like he usually does and he was actually acting pretty cool. he must've forgotten his ritilin. man that kid is fun without his drugs. last time he didn't have his drugs, we ended up shaving his head in a hotel room.

yea, it was pretty kickass.

so this past weekend definitely kicked some major ass. friday we went to monster-in-law, which was okay funny.

i love wanda sykes.

otherwise that movie was lame.

anyway, satuday i totally pwned at the swim thing. sunday hung out at allies with rachel, aj, eric, ben and that kate chick. which is always fun................sometimes.

this weekend is hopefully gonna kick ass. friday night, joanie's gonna spend the night. so we're gonna have wild sweaty pig-like sex. saturday riot filming with presdaddy and everyone. 10 am, irving for those who might actually read this...let's get married. sunday, dunno. maybe watch star wars all day. sounds fine by me.

SNORT GIGGLE
